"A Full Day at Okada Manila – What You Can Actually Do (And Why You’ll Never Be Bored)"

Let me just say it straight up: Okada Manila is not just a hotel. It’s like a mini city where you could get lost (in a good way), eat way too much, and end the night feeling like royalty or a rockstar—or both. I spent an entire day there, and here’s exactly what went down. Spoiler: I did not want to leave.

9:00 AM – Check-in & Coffee Fix

Arrived at the gorgeous lobby and checked in. If you’re an early bird like me, request early check-in when you book (they’re usually accommodating if the room’s ready).

Pro tip: Ask for a Fountain View Room. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Dropped my bags, freshened up, and immediately headed down to The Lobby Lounge for a much-needed coffee and light breakfast. Their Spanish latte hits the spot, and I grabbed a croissant sandwich to fuel up.

10:30 AM – Spa Time at The Retreat Spa

Walked over to The Retreat Spa and booked their signature massage—90 minutes of pure bliss. The ambiance? Super calming, with soft lighting and herbal scents in the air.

They start you off with tea and a foot wash. After the massage, I chilled in their jacuzzi and steam room—felt like a new human after.

12:00 PM – A Little Retail Therapy

After the spa, I wandered into The Crystal Corridor, their luxury shopping strip. Think: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari... even if you’re not buying, window shopping in your robe (jk, I changed) is a whole vibe.

Also picked up a few local items at Philippine Treasures—perfect for souvenirs.

1:00 PM – Sushi Omakase Lunch at Enbu

Decided to treat myself to something special for lunch and booked a seat at Enbu, Okada’s Japanese restaurant. Went for their omakase set and, wow—fresh sashimi, wagyu beef, tempura done right, and the view of the fountain? Unreal.

They even grilled stuff right in front of me. Kinda theatrical, very delicious.

2:30 PM – Infinity Pool + Chill Time

Went back up to change into swimwear and headed to the Cove Manila Pool, which is indoor, climate-controlled, and under a dome that lets sunlight in. It looks like something out of a futuristic music video.

Lounge chairs, cocktails, and a quick dip = afternoon bliss. Tried their signature mojito and didn’t regret it.

4:00 PM – A Little Flirt with Lady Luck (Casino Time)

Okada has one of the largest casinos in Asia, so I had to at least try my hand. Started with the slot machines (easy and fun), then moved over to a bit of blackjack.

Did I win big? No. Did I have fun pretending to be in Ocean’s Eleven? Absolutely.

5:30 PM – Dessert Break at Pastry Shop

Walked over to their Pastry Shop and grabbed a seat by the window. Got a slice of their mango sans rival and paired it with an iced matcha latte. This place is low-key underrated.

6:30 PM – The Fountain Show

Changed outfits real quick and went to catch the Fountain Show at the heart of Okada. It starts around sunset and runs every hour after that. Music, water jets, lights—it’s like a mini Bellagio, but Filipino style. It was romantic and dramatic and made me emotional (no judgment).

Tip: Best view is from the Sky Lounge or Goryeo Korean BBQ’s al fresco area.

7:30 PM – Dinner at Medley Buffet

Let me tell you: Medley Buffet is a FEAST. There’s everything—Filipino, Chinese, Indian, Western, Japanese. I went straight for the crab station, loaded up on lechon, and demolished some sashimi again (no regrets).

Paced myself with a glass of red wine and tried not to explode from fullness.

9:30 PM – Nightcap at the Lobby Lounge

Headed back to the Lobby Lounge (yes, again) for a chill nightcap. They have live music at night, so I sipped a negroni while a jazz singer crooned Adele covers. Perfect way to wind down.

11:00 PM – Back in the Room + Bubble Bath Goals

Finally back in my room. Threw on the robe, ran a bubble bath with the city lights out the window, and just soaked in silence for a bit. Room service delivered some chamomile tea (because why not?) and I watched a few YouTube videos in bed before crashing.

Final Thoughts:
You can spend just one day at Okada Manila, but fair warning—it’s going to make you want to book a week. The mix of luxury, entertainment, and chill is addictive. Perfect for a solo escape, a couple’s weekend, or even a fun family trip (they have a kids’ area too!).
